A report by the British Intelligence Objectives Sub-Committee (BIOS); 1945/46
Intelligence report by BIOS on work at the forefront of research into solving handling difficulties when using T-Stoff, the primary liquid fuel for rockets.
Duplicated typewritten report in English, 10 x 7.5 inches, 25 x 19 cms. 20 pages.
Very good in original stapled card wrappers.
T-Stoff, the primary liquid fuel for rockets was, in essence, 80% hydrogen peroxide. This fuel presented enormous handling difficulties as many metals produced a catalytic reaction in the fuel which could, and did on occasion, lead to an explosion.
H. Walter Kommanditgesellschaft were at the forefront of research into solving these problems by producing special materials.
An important 20 pages in the development of jet propulsion.
