A report by the British Intelligence Objectives Sub-Committee (BIOS); October 1945
A major report on the wartime design and production of marine propellers in Germany.
Duplicated typewritten report in English, 10 x 7.5 inches, 25 x 19 cms. 88 pages, illustrated throughout with many folding engineering drawings and some photographs.
Very good in original stapled card wrappers.
During the war a German Propeller Commission advised on special problems such as the design of cavitation-free propellers for high-speed vessels and the reduction of propeller noise for U-boats.
