This work was published in Berlin in 1941 Nur fur den Dienstgebrauch! (For official use only) by the Abteilung fur Kriegskarten und Vermessungswesen (Department for War Maps and Surveying) within the Generalstab des Heeres (German General Staff), with the title Militargeographische Einzelangaben uber England : Objektbilder (Individual Geographic-Military Specifications across England : Object Pictures).
The photographs are of military and strategic "targets" across East Anglia - mainly road and rail bridges and viaducts. Every image is captioned with its subject and locality. The photographs were compiled for the German High Command from a number of different sources, some pre-war, others during the war itself including some aerial views most likely from German wartime photo reconnaissance.
