Liquid Oxygen Production in France and Belgium

A report by the Combined [British/US] Intelligence Objectives Sub-Committee (CIOS); August 1944

A very early CIOS report, one of the first on German advanced fuel production, with details of the important Liege plant.

CIOS 'Black List of targets for urgent investigation' category: Rockets and rocket fuels

Duplicated typewritten report in English, 10 x 7.5 inches, 25 x 19 cms. 24 pages, plus 31 photographs on 11 pages, plus 18 figures/sketches

Very good in original stapled card wrappers.

The report states that the largest source for military purposes, exclusively for "flying bombs" (i.e. the V1 - the first V2 had yet to arrive), was at Liege. Other plants are noted at Briey, Boulogne, Mondeville, Nantes, Strasbourg and Dunkerque.
