Bayerische Motor Werke (BMW)

A report by the Combined [British/US] Intelligence Objectives Sub-Committee (CIOS); May, June 1945

"The target ... is one of the outstanding German stations for stationary tests on rocket motors. Stations of comparable importance have been only at Peenemunde and Berlin". (Extract from report)

CIOS 'Black List of targets for urgent investigation' category: Jet propulsion

Duplicated typewritten report in English, 10 x 7.5 inches, 25 x 19 cms. 10 pages, 6 photographs, 1 figure.

Very good in original stapled card wrappers. Early library stamp on top cover.

One of the seminal early CIOS reports on jet propulsion. This report was first issued by CIOS as a restricted and numbered report and almost immediately by CIOS/HMSO in an unrestricted but controlled circulation format of which this is an example.
